Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Thursday, July 17th: Depart from the United States to Rome.

Day 2 - Friday, July 18th: Arrive in Rome.

Check into the hotel and freshen up. Afternoon walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto and food tour, tasting the amazing Italian delicacies. Overnight Rome.

Day 3 Saturday, July 19th: Rome

Today we tour historic Rome, visiting the major sites of Rome: We will visit the Trevi Fountain which is an 18th century fountain in the Trevi district in Rome. It was designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini in 1762 and several other artists. We will visit the Spanish Steps which climb a steep slope between Piazza di Spagna at the base and Piazza Trinita dei Monti, dominated by the Trinita dei Monti church. Stroll through Piazza Navona, a 15th century public square boasting stunning fountains built in the 1600s. We will also see the Colosseum which is an elliptical amphitheatre in the center of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world. Overnight Rome.

Day 4 Sunday, July 20th: Rome

This morning we will visit the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Vatican City is a city-state surrounded by Rome and is the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church. It is home to the Pope and a trove of iconic art and architecture. The Vatican Museums house ancient Roman sculptures such as the famed "Laocoon and His Sons" as well as Renaissance frescoes in the Raphael Rooms and the Sistine Chapel, famous for Michelangelo's ceiling. The afternoon is free to enjoy Rome on your own. Overnight Rome.

Day 5 Monday, July 21st: Tuscany & Florence

We rise and bid farewell to Rome ( Arrivederci Roma) and we head to enchanting Tuscany. We travel through Pienza to Montalcino where we will be able to do wine tasting in this pastoral location. Continue on to Siena for a tour of the historic center. Siena, located in the Tuscany region, is distinguished by its medieval brick buildings. Piazza del Campo is the site of the Palazzo Pubblico, the Gothic town hall, and the Torre del Mangia, a splendor 14th century tower with sweeping views from its distinctive white crown. At last, we arrive in Florence. Overnight Florience.

Day 6 Tuesday , July 22nd: Florence

This morning , we will tour Florence. Florence is the capital of Italy's Tuscany region and home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. One of its most iconic sights is the Duomo, a cathedral with a terracotta-tiled dome engineered by Brunelleschi and a bell tower by Giotto. This afternoon is free to enjoy Florence. Afternoon departure for Andrea Bocceli concert for those that plan to attend this event. Overnight Florence.

Day 7 Wednesday , July 23rd: Verona

This morning we will travel through the beautiful Tuscan countryside to Verona. Verona is a city with a medieval old town built between the meandering Adige River. It's famous for being the setting of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet". We will tour Verona. Overnight Verona.

Day 8 Thursday , July 24th: Venice

Today we will visit Venice, the capital of Italy's Venito region. It is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. See the charming canals and gondolas of Venice. Stroll through San Marco Square and visit Saint Mark's Basilica offering stunning views of the city's red roofs. Overnight Verona.

Day 9 Friday , July 25th: Lake Garda

This morning we will travel to the stunning Lake Garda area and soak in the breathtaking view of Italy's largest lake. Enjoy the view of the pre-alps and soak it all in. Overnight Lake Garda

Day 10 Friday , July 26th: Departure - Home

We head to Milan for departure back home to the States.
